The LuxDoc committee runs day to day operations and is elected once a year among LuxDoc’s members at the general assembly. This committee was appointed at the general assembly on 8/2 2020.

Miriam Fougeras is a 4th year PhD student working in the Luxembourg Institute of Health (Proteomics of cellular signaling). She did her Masters in molecular biotechnology at Bielefeld University (Germany).
Erik Pillon started his PhD in January 2019 and is working on the molecular Aharonov-Bohm effect. He studied Mathematics at University of Verona (Italy) and spent one year in Grenoble (France) within the Erasmus Exchange program.
Ksenia Usanova is a 2nd year PhD student at the Department of Management working on Talent Management and HRM in the space industry. She did her M.A. in Social Anthropology at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and M.A. in International Business at the Higher School of Economics.
Nicole Perez is a 3rd year PhD student in Operations Management at the Luxembourg Center for Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She completed her MBA at Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business and her MSc in Industrial Engineering at Koç University.
Georges Dahm is an analytical chemist at Laboratoire National de Santé / Dudelange. He did his PhD at Strasbourg University on Metallocarbenes for therapeutic applications.
Johan Ekström is a 3rd year PhD student at the Department of Physics and Materials science. He did his master’s at Lund University, Sweden.
Mikolaj Kasprzak is a postdoc in the probability group of the Department of Mathematics. He is originally from Poland but did all of his studies in the UK – first a BSc and Master at Warwick and then a PhD at Oxford.
Ana Montes-Viñas is a 4th year PhD student working in the Department of Economics and Management working on the economics of migration. She is an economist with master’s degrees in economics and public policy from Hertie School of Governance and Universidad de los Andes (Colombia)
Andreas Bock Michelsen started his PhD in November 2018 at the Department of Physics and Materials Science working on the theory of quantum hybrid systems. He did his master’s in physics at Aarhus University, Denmark.
Nijat Hajikhanov is a 3rd year PhD student at the Department of Economics and Management and working in accounting field. He did his masters in accounting at Australian National University.
Nora Paulus is a 4th year Phd student at the Department of Economics and Management working on interjurisdictional competition. She did her master’s in Economics at the University of Freiburg.

Marielle Ferreira Silva is a PhD student working in Recyclable Architecture at the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning. She is graduated in Architecture and Urbanism and has a Master degree in Civil Engineering in Brazil.
