Science Slam 2021

At the LuxDoc Science Slam 2021, in total six combatants from various disciplines will try to fascinate you about the science they are doing. Each presentation will be no longer than 10 minutes and surely be unique as the slammers are complete free in their way of performance! Afterwards, it’s the audience – meaning YOU – who is rating the presentation and assigning points to it.

However, we promise you that you will not only see entertaining pieces of performance, but also hear about things you never knew before and be able to broaden your knowledge.

We are very happy to organize this event again after a pause of several years! You can reserve tickets already now by sending a mail to scienceslam@uni.lu

2021 Science Slam will take place October 6th at 19.00 at Centre Culturel de Rencontre Abbaye de Neumünster

How do I get a ticket?

There are several ways:

1. Call the Billeterie +352/ 26 20 52 444

2. Use the ticketing system of the Abbey

3. Buy a ticket directly at the Abbey at the reception or the Billeterie during opening hours

Please note: Tickets that are only reserved, need to be picked up on-site at the Abbey until 18:30. Otherwise they will return to the sales and you cannot claim them anymore. (Reservation is free of charge, but tickets remain at their original prize of 5 Euros each)

Will there be catering?

Yes! Within the bounds of possibilists and depending on the current hygienic regulations in place at that time, we will provide some drinks in the foyer at the theater hall. There will be a pause of 30 minutes after the first half of the contributions to take a refreshment.

After the event, the bar will also stay open for some time – this is also a perfect opportunity to meet the slammers of the evening and talk to them in person!
